Damage in the Greymouth area
Abstract
The borough of Greymouth, at the mouth the Grey river on the west coast, is 90 km south west of Inangahua Junction, and thus approximately 100 km from the instrumental epicentre of the main earthquake shock of 5.24 a.m. on May 24, 1968.
